One of these is a live premium rate service and VetsDirect Ltd has obtained a certificate from the Independent Committee for the Supervision of Standards of Telephone Information Services (ICSTIS) to operate such a service.
VetsDirect Ltd is required to comply with the ICSTIS Code of Practice and endeavours to meet its obligations under the Code at all times.

VetsDirect Ltd attaches great importance to the reliability of the information it provides on its telephone helplines and on this web site. The information as been written and edited by qualified vets. This information should be regarded as general in nature, however, and if you are in any doubt about the welfare or health of your pet you should consult a veterinary surgeon. VetsDirect Ltd cannot be held responsible for an illness to a pet if the owner called one of our helplines but subsequently failed to have the animal seen by a vet.
